Middle of Night Delights
It's too early to be up, but we are. Three hours of attempting to salvage some of the night, some sleep. We've given up. Together we're reading, playing, and doing laundry. Oh little girl...
Sometimes you frustrate me to no end,
but all it takes is a quick look at your sweet face,
or hearing a peal of your uninhibited laughter to put these late nights into perspective.
I am a blessed woman because you have kept me awake, because you are here rearranging the laundry piles, because God has allowed my arms to be full.
You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever. Psalm 30:11-12
